DISCOVER THE HAVELI OF TALES

If there is a haveli, there is a story

A haveli is a “Kahani Ghar”, which means story house or house of stories, for there is very little that separates a haveli from that which is just outside its door.

Colourful neighborhoods, chirping birds, and the playful humming of neighbours surround this haveli.

But as we enter back inside, the lively, sometimes chaotic street scene is left behind and storytelling begins. The haveli is a microcosm of Indian values and philosophies, which all direct one to look inwards and reflect. It is the Indian belief, that while everything dies, stories live in a transcendental way to guide our actions and priorities throughout our lifetime.

Stories are part of every day life in Mukunda.

There is no end to the laughter they often bring. They lie waiting within the ceilings and walls and are happily shared, becoming richer and more enchanting with the passage of time.
